Abstract : Inheritance law systems in Indonesia is divided into three
systems, that is western inheritance law sourced from Burgerlijk
Wetboek (also called BW), islamic
inheritance law sourced from Al-Qur’an and hadist, and adat inheritance law.
Inheritance issues are often crucial issues that sometimes trigger family
disputes and disunity, even as a result of these inheritance issues can inflict
on criminal action and even murder. The main topic in this journal is to
provide an understanding to the heirs regarding the distribution of inheritance
rights fairly so that it does not become a dispute in the future.
